"My God!" said Alan Grant. He was staring at a fax of an x-ray. Elle was staring at it too. "There hasn't been a lizard like this on Earth for 200 MILLION years". Ellie read out the note which came with the x-ray. "It says, "Lizard found on Cabo Blanco beach in Costa Rica. Part of its body has been eaten by a monkey. A lizard like this attacked a 10-year-old girl on the same beach. There have also been reports about lizards attacking babies". "Is this fake, Alan?" Ellie asked. "Is someone making a joke? Or is this a real animal?"
